FAQ

What makes your pet treats different from others on the market?

We take pride in using high-quality, halal, and natural ingredients in everything we make for your pet. Our treats are free from artificial additives, chemical dyes, and preservatives, making them a healthy and delicious choice for your furry friends.

What does Halal mean?

"Halal" is an Arabic term that roughly translates to "lawful" or "permissible." For our company, we use the term "Halal" to refer to how an animal is slaughtered for our meat-based ingredients. All animals slaughtered for our products are Zabiha slaughtered. This method is painless and done according to the Quran.

Are your treats suitable for all types of pets?

Our treats are primarily designed for dogs and cats, but we plan to expand this as our knowledge grows. We recommend checking the product names for specific details on suitability for different animals.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

The baking and freezing process could take 2-3 days depending on the treats you have purchased. We use USPS Priority Mail to ship out your orders which is a 1-3 business day delivery. Expect shipping delays if you placed your order on the weekend or a federal holiday. While we do our best to make the fulfillment of your order fast, it could take 7 business days for you to receive your order. If there are delays on our end, we will communicate that with you.

How should I store the treats?

Once you receive your pet's new favorite treat, store these treats in the fridge for 2 weeks or freezer for 4 months. While the treats may last longer than stated above, we want optimal texture and taste for your furry companion. Our packaging includes a resealable mylar bag, moisture absorbers, and an oxygen absorber. All of these are to help prolong the shelf life of our products without harming your pet.

Are your treats safe for pets with allergies?

While we strive to offer a variety of treats for pets with dietary restrictions, we always recommend checking the ingredients list for potential allergens. If your pet has specific allergies, we advise consulting with a veterinarian before introducing new treats.

Can I return or exchange treats if my pet doesn't like them?

We want you and your pet to be delighted with our treats. However, as a health and safety precaution, we do not accept returns. If, for any reason, you or your pet are not happy with your purchase, please reach out to our customer service team to discuss any questions or issues that you may have.

Do you have a feed license? Yes, Jawda Pet Kitchen has an active feed license in Kansas.

Are your treats registered with the states you sell in?

Yes, all of our treats are registered with the Department of Agriculture in the respective states where we sell.

When will you start selling in other states?

In sha Allah, we will expand our selling territory when we get enough funds. Right now, we are focused on making enough profit locally to break even. Once that is done, we would like to register our products outside of Kansas. Let us know which states you want to see us selling in next!
